2027 IIA International Conference

The IIA International Conference is the yearly global meeting of the internal audit profession, run by The Institute of Internal Auditors. The 2027 edition, themed "Converge", comes to Riyadh and looks at how transformation, new technology and emerging risks are changing the way internal audit works. Delegates can attend in person at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center or follow the programme through a full livestream.

Who attends

The conference is built for everyone in internal audit, from chief audit executives to staff auditors, along with risk and governance specialists. The IIA reports that its 2026 edition drew more than 2,600 professionals from over 110 countries, covering 100+ roles and 30+ industries.

Programme and formats

Three days of keynotes, general sessions and concurrent sessions, with an exhibit hall and networking events for in-person delegates. The conference offers more than 30 CPE credits.

Travel and visas

The IIA advises delegates to check passport and visa requirements early. Saudi Arabia runs an eVisa programme for eligible nationalities, and The IIA can issue a visa support letter on request. A call for speakers is open for practitioners who want to present in Riyadh.
