CABSAT 2027

CABSAT is a long-running trade event for broadcast, satellite, digital entertainment and media technology across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, established in 1993 and organised by Dubai World Trade Centre. The 2027 edition takes place from 4 to 6 May at Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai, the show's newer home, co-located with the satellite event SatExpo.

What's covered

The programme is built around four themes that span how content is made, moved and shown.

• Content creation, storytelling and virtual production: cameras, lighting, audio, LED volumes and real-time engines
• Media technology trends, cloud and IP workflows: MAM, newsroom systems and workflow orchestration
• Pro AV, immersive environments and integrated systems: displays, audio, control and spatial design
• Ethics, sustainability and diversity in media

Show features

Alongside the exhibition, CABSAT runs conference stages, masterclasses and product launches, plus deal-focused formats such as the Co-Production Salon, a Hosted Buyer Programme and VIP lounges. Other features include the Contentverse content market, the BroadcastPro Manufacturer Awards and Off the Record sessions.

Who attends

The audience mixes creative, technical, commercial and policy roles: filmmakers, producers and directors, OTT platforms and broadcasters, content buyers and distributors, broadcast engineers and system integrators, satellite operators and telcos, animation and VFX studios, ad-tech specialists, media investors, and government and regulatory bodies.
