METAS 2027

METAS, the Middle East Tyre, Auto & Spare Parts Expo, is an annual B2B trade show at Expo Centre Sharjah for the tyre and automotive aftermarket industry. Formerly known as the UAE China Tyre & Auto Parts Expo, it launched in 2022 and acts as a bridge between international, largely Chinese, manufacturers and buyers across the region. For 2027 the organiser plans to widen its international exhibitor base with new pavilions and dedicated zones for overseas manufacturers and exporters.

What's on show

The exhibition is organised into three product areas.

• Tyres: tyres and wheel hubs, raw materials and moulds, recycling and retreading machinery, testing equipment, wheel alignment and balancing, production technology
• Auto parts: engine, fuel, transmission, steering, suspension and brake systems, electronics, lighting, body and interior equipment and accessories
• Car maintenance: maintenance and inspection tools and equipment, automotive moulds, car care products and services

Forums and meetings run alongside the exhibition for manufacturers, distributors and aftermarket professionals. Topics listed by the organiser include:

Scale

Since 2022 the show has grown quickly; the organiser says it now attracts more than 500 exhibitors and over 61,000 trade visitors. It is hosted by Shandong Port Overseas Supply Chain (Qingdao) Co., Ltd and Hualun Inter Tech FZCO, and organised by Inter Commerce Expo Corporation.
