11th Iraq Finance Expo

The Iraq Finance Expo is a banking, fintech and digital transformation exhibition that has run for over a decade, with ten editions held inside and outside Iraq. Its eleventh edition comes to Baghdad in April 2027, bringing together banks, electronic payment companies, insurance firms and decision-makers from Iraq's financial and economic sectors, with the Baghdad International Fair listed as an event partner.

What the expo covers

The expo has set out to support the reform and modernisation of Iraq's financial and banking infrastructure and to connect it with current global technology. Its stated aims are:

• Enhancing digital transformation in banking services
• Expanding financial inclusion
• Encouraging investment in modern financial technologies
• Improving the efficiency of the financial sector

2027 agenda

The organizers describe the 2027 programme as focused on digital transformation, financial inclusion and investment growth, with high-level panel discussions, expert-led workshops and case studies on banking, fintech, e-payments and regulatory innovation. Who takes part

Over the past ten editions most Iraqi banks have exhibited, together with regional and international electronic payment and insurance companies. Earlier editions featured senior officials from the Central Bank of Iraq, executives of commercial banks, international financial institutions, fintech founders and policymakers.
