BioJapan 2026

BioJapan is Asia's premier bio-industry partnering event and, launched in 1986, the world's longest-running biotechnology exhibition. The 2026 edition marks its 40th anniversary and runs with two co-located shows, Regenerative Medicine JAPAN and healthTECH JAPAN, at PACIFICO Yokohama.

Three pillars

The event combines an exhibition, seminars and an original partnering platform for finding collaborators and in- and out-licensing assets.

• BioJapan: drug discovery, food and agriculture, chemicals and cosmetics, contract services, IP and finance
• Regenerative Medicine JAPAN: cell culture, CDMO, imaging and regenerative therapies
• healthTECH JAPAN: digital health, digital medicine, AI diagnostics and biomarkers

Keynote lectures

Keynotes on 7 October 2026 feature leaders from industry, academia and investment.

Who attends

Pharmaceutical and biotech companies, drug discovery start-ups, CDMOs and CROs, food, chemical and cosmetics makers, investors and venture capital, universities, research institutes and government bodies. The event is organised by the BioJapan Organizing Committee, represented by the Japan Bioindustry Association, with JTB Communication Design.
