When is gedatec 2026 open?

From Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 October 2026. Visitors are admitted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; exhibitors have access from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Where does it take place?

At the Berlin ExpoCenter City on the Messe Berlin grounds, Messedamm 22, 14055 Berlin, in Halls 1.2, 2.2, 3.2, 4.2, 5.2 and 6.2. Use the South Entrance on Jafféstraße.

How do I buy a ticket?

Only online tickets are sold this year, through the fair's ticket shop. There are no cash desks on site, and vouchers must also be redeemed online in advance.

Is there reduced admission?

Yes. Reduced tickets apply to pupils and students on their first course of education and to people with disabilities, on showing valid ID. A companion of a severely disabled person with a "B" mark is admitted free.

How should I travel to the fair?

Parking is very limited, so public transport is recommended: S-Bahn S3 or S9 to Messe Süd, or the free M1 shuttle bus from the Olympic Stadium. Admission tickets do not include Berlin public transport, but a discounted ABC ticket can be added in the shop.

About this event

gedatec is the new building technology trade fair from Messe Berlin. It grows out of belektro, the Berlin electrical trade show with a 40-year history, and widens it into a cross-trade platform where electricians, heating, sanitation and air-conditioning installers and roofers meet the suppliers behind smart, sustainable buildings. The aim is to get the trades talking to each other about how the energy transition is actually built on site.

Three trades, one fair

The show is organised in three areas that together cover the building envelope and its technical systems.

belektro / electrical: smart building technology, electrical installation and electromobility
SHK (HVAC and sanitation): heating systems, sanitary solutions and air-conditioning technology
Roof: roofing systems from classic tiles to solar roof solutions
