Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) 2027

The Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE), organised by Messe Frankfurt, is the most influential platform for the lighting and LED industry in Asia. Held every June at the China Import and Export Fair Complex alongside Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT), it fills Areas A and B of the venue with luminaires, LED technology and lighting systems, and draws buyers from more than 160 countries and regions.

Architects, lighting and interior designers, planners and engineers, property developers and building owners, contractors, smart lighting solution providers, and trade buyers such as distributors, wholesalers, importers and retailers.

Programme and services

A fringe programme of special exhibitions, workshops and seminars runs alongside the halls. Overseas buyers can join the Power Match business-matching programme and group delegation scheme, and the organizer issues invitation letters to support visa applications.

Key figures

The 2026 edition, held with GEBT, hosted 2,802 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions and 210,128 visitors from 164 countries and regions across 210,000 gross sqm in 21 halls.
