About this event

Public Service Data.AI is the UK's annual event for public servants working to unlock data and artificial intelligence across government and the wider public sector. Brought to you by Global Government Forum and hosted by HM Government, the 2026 open conference gathers senior digital leaders, policymakers, data specialists and service designers from the UK and abroad at the Business Design Centre in London.

Programme format

Main stages (Lovelace and Turing), impact stages and roundtables run through the day. Sessions include moving AI from pilots to practice, building a shared vocabulary and infrastructure for data sharing, unlocking AI to deliver government priorities, and how to properly value data in government, alongside BOLD Partnership case studies from local authorities and the Ministry of Justice.

Data Summit

The day before, on 14 October 2026, a by-invitation Data Summit brings senior government data leaders from around the world together for round-table discussions.

Who attends

Public servants in policy, operations, service delivery, digital and technology from central and local government, the NHS and international administrations. Private sector organisations take part as partners.
