What are the opening times?

Doors open at 09:00 on both days. The show closes at 17:00 on 21 April and at 16:30 on 22 April.

Is it free to attend?

Retailers, consumer brands and leisure and hospitality organisations attend free, and the pass includes every conference track. Technology and service providers, and students, must buy a pass.

Registration for 2027 is through the register-your-interest form on the official website. It is a trade event and nobody under 18 is admitted.

About this event

Retail Technology Show is a two-day trade event that brings retailers, consumer brands and leisure and hospitality operators together with the technology companies that sell into retail. Every exhibitor serves the retail sector, so the floor is organised around the problems retailers want to solve, from payments and store operations to supply chain and loss prevention. The 2027 edition takes halls S2 to S4 at ExCeL London.

Three programmes run in parallel and are covered by the same pass: the exhibition, a conference with six tracks plus workshops, roundtables, guided show tours and the Future of Retail LIVE stage, and a networking programme with the Retailers Lounge, Access Members Club, happy hours and the BIG Retail Party. Meetings can be booked in advance through the event app.

Who attends

The organiser describes it as a buying-committee event rather than an IT show: attendees influence purchases across functions such as IT, ecommerce, payments, marketing, finance, supply chain, operations and security. 15,000 retail professionals attended in April 2026, when the conference ran to 125 speakers.
