Smart Health Europe 2027

Smart Health Europe is a new innovation platform for European healthcare systems, debuting at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds in October 2027. Organised by Messe Berlin with Bitkom as strategic partner, it combines an expo, a conference and a "Marketplace for Action" where decision-makers from healthcare, politics, industry and research turn digital solutions into projects that scale across national health systems.

Five exhibitor clusters

The exhibition is organised around five themes.

• Anchor Hospital: hospitals, information systems, interoperability, digital patient journey
• Health Data Economy: big data, EHDS, data infrastructure, analytics, governance
• Cyber Defence & Resilience: cybersecurity, digital sovereignty, identity, critical infrastructure
• Health Convergence: connected MedTech, AI in healthcare, health in mobility and consumer products
• Prevention & Public Health: personalised medicine, wearables, DiGA, longevity, insurers

Special areas

Exhibit formats include startup and scale-up areas, the DiGA Runway for digital health applications, the Anchor Hospital Area and pavilions.
