Surfex 2026

Surfex is a curated platform for the surfaces industry, held at Expo Centre Sharjah from 8 to 10 December 2026. It positions itself as deliberately unlike a conventional trade fair: instead of open halls and mass footfall, it brings selected manufacturers together with buyers, importers and specifiers who come to evaluate, compare and decide on materials for architecture, interiors, infrastructure and design projects.

Product categories

Participating manufacturers and invited buyers are matched across these surface segments:

• Ceramic tiles
• Large format slabs
• Sintered stone
• Natural stone
• Quartz surfaces
• SPC flooring
• Sanitary ware

How access works

Both sides apply. Manufacturers submit an application with their product category and a brief brand statement, and the Surfex team reviews every application. Buyers, importers, architects, designers and developers request an invitation and are asked about their segment, import volumes and procurement timeframe. The organiser notes that submitting a request does not guarantee participation.

Format

Rather than stands built for browsing, participants engage with curated surface collections and structured discussions. The platform's stated principles are value over volume, clarity over noise, relevance over spectacle and standards over scale. Colortile is listed as a silver partner.
