The 28th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF 2026)

The China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), first held in 1999 and hosted by the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, is one of China's longest-running national platforms for trading technology achievements. The 28th edition, organised by Zhenwei Exhibition Group, returns to Shenzhen World in Bao'an and adds a dedicated New Energy sector for the first time.

CHTF combines a technology-achievement exchange with industry exhibitions spanning China's strategic emerging industries, from research labs and universities to industrial chains.

New Energy sector (first edition)

The 2026 fair brings new-type power systems, energy storage, hydrogen, computing power and solar-storage-charging together into one New Energy sector. The organiser says more than a hundred central and state-owned enterprises and Fortune Global 500 energy companies are taking part, including State Grid, China Southern Power Grid, Dongfang Electric, Shanghai Electric, ABB and Eaton.

Conferences and matchmaking

Alongside the exhibition, CHTF runs an opening ceremony, the China High-Tech Forum, a keynote forum on technology and investment, a Global Procurement Matchmaking Conference, a Global Investment & Financing Matching Conference, product launches and award programmes.
