About This Event
ADIA Lab Symposium 2026 is a Big Data event taking place 26-28 Oct 2026 at Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The ADIA Lab Symposium is the flagship event of ADIA Lab, the independent Abu Dhabi laboratory for basic and applied research in data and computational sciences. The fourth edition runs over three days under the theme Prediction, Design and Deployment, following AI from understanding and forecasting complex systems, through engineering reliable technologies, to scaling them in the real world. The line-up includes three Nobel laureates and several ACM Turing Award winners alongside ADIA Lab's advisory board and research fellows.
Programme
Each day follows one strand of the theme, with morning keynotes, three parallel tracks, research project updates, expert case studies and an afternoon poster session.

- Day 2 – Design: engineering systems with reliable intelligence
- Day 3 – Deployment: scaling innovation into practice
- Parallel tracks on climate, health and finance/economic applications of AI

Headline speakers
Confirmed speakers include Nobel laureates Robert Engle, Steven Chu and Konstantin Novoselov, Turing Award laureates Jack Dongarra and Shafi Goldwasser, and researchers from ETH Zürich, Harvard, MIT, Oxford, Yale, Columbia, MBZUAI, KAUST and NYU Abu Dhabi, as well as practitioners from Mubadala, Intellectual Ventures and Fresenius Medical Care.

The symposium is aimed at researchers, industry practitioners and policymakers working in AI, machine learning, data science and high-performance computing, particularly those applying them to climate, health sciences and the digital economy.
Attending
The forum is free to attend in person or by livestream, but registration is required. The agenda is preliminary and subject to change as more speakers are confirmed.
