Africa Tech Summit Nairobi 2027

Africa Tech Summit Nairobi is the continent's flagship tech and investment conference, now in its ninth Nairobi edition. It brings African and international ventures, investors, corporates and regulators together for two days of conference tracks, an exhibition hall, an investment showcase and the Africa Tech Summit Awards.

Four tracks under one roof

The programme runs across four deep-dive tracks that cover the main commercial themes in African technology, from digital finance to climate solutions.

• Money & DeFi: payments, banking, mobile money, remittance, tokenisation, CBDCs and regulation
• AI & Digital: AI infrastructure, LLMs, AI regulation and ethics, connectivity and cybersecurity
• Climate Tech & Investment: EVs, sustainable finance, power, agritech, logistics and water
• Startup Summit: startups, corporates and investors working on partnerships and growth

Who attends

Founders and scale-ups, venture capital and impact investors, C-suite executives from banks, telcos and global platforms, and policymakers and regulators from across Africa. Startups can attend at reduced rates, and dedicated expo packages are available for young companies.

Beyond the sessions

Alongside the talks, the summit runs an exhibition hall, an Investment Showcase for investment-ready ventures and the Africa Tech Summit Awards, which take place as part of the Nairobi 2027 edition. Founders Day on 9 February precedes the two main conference days.
