Asia Photonics Expo (APE) 2027

Asia Photonics Expo (APE) is a photonics trade show in Singapore that serves as a gateway to Southeast Asia's optics, laser and optoelectronics market. For 2027 it expands into three co-located expos covering photonics, semiconductors and electronics, reflecting how closely light, chips and embedded intelligence now overlap.

Three expos

The 2027 show floor is split across three concurrent exhibitions.

• Photonics: optical communications, optics, lasers, infrared, sensing and quantum
• Semiconductor (new): IC design and EDA, materials and core parts, fabrication, packaging and test equipment, and IC chips
• Electronics (new): embedded intelligence and components, from development boards and power supplies to sensors and connectors

Conferences and forums

The programme at the 2026 edition included the Asia Photonics Conference, the Photonics@SG Conference, Quantum Singapore, the Asia Semiconductor Conference, a Machine Vision Forum and a Semiconductor Manufacturing Forum. The organiser also runs a VIP buyer programme, delegations and site tours.

Key figures

APE 2026 welcomed 5,586 industry professionals and 353 exhibitors over three days. The organiser projects more than 500 exhibitors for APE 2027.
