About this event

The 17th International Astana Mining & Metallurgy Congress (AMM) is one of the major events of Kazakhstan's mining and metallurgical complex. Organised by Iteca and supported each year by the Ministry of Industry and Construction, international and national associations and industry leaders such as ERG, Kazzinc, Kazakhmys, KAZ Minerals and Qarmet, it combines a congress, an exhibition, networking and the Golden Hephaestus industry contest.

Congress

AMM opens dialogue platforms on intersectoral investment cooperation and joint solutions for the industry, including B2B and G2B meetings with the most significant subsoil users and Kazakh state bodies. The congress is confirmed by UFI, and in 2018 it hosted the 25th World Mining Congress with 2,586 delegates from 50 countries.

Exhibition

The accompanying exhibition presents equipment and technology for prospecting, production and processing of mineral resources in a single-style format. Exhibitors receive delegate seats at the AMM Forum and can join B2B meetings with leading mining and metallurgical companies of Kazakhstan.
