Automechanika Shanghai 2026

Automechanika Shanghai is the largest automotive industry trade fair in Asia and part of Messe Frankfurt's global Automechanika brand. Its 21st edition takes over the whole National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), around 390,000 sqm across 16 halls and a mezzanine, for an anticipated 7,600 exhibitors built around three themes: technological innovation, product evolution and service enhancement.

Conference programme

Around 100 conferences, workshops and forums run across the four days, covering energy and powertrain, intelligent connectivity, commercial vehicles, new materials, smart manufacturing and global expansion.

Who attends

The show is for trade visitors aged 18 or above from across the automotive industry: carmakers, manufacturers, dealers, agents, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, workshops, service centres, refitters and fleet operators. Top managers with purchasing authority can apply for the Auto Tech Club, which offers VIP check-in.

Visiting

Opening hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and until 3:00 pm on the last day. Entry is free for registered trade visitors; those who pre-register by 31 October 2026 and attend receive a free official e-fair catalogue after the show.
