About this event

Australian Manufacturing Week (AMW) is Australia's leading event for precision and advanced manufacturing, run by AMTIL, the Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute. The 2027 edition fills the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre over four days and is free for trade visitors.

Product zones

AMW is organised into six product zones.

  • Machine Tools: CNC machinery, cutting tools, forming and fabrication, laser and waterjet
  • Additive Manufacturing: 3D printing users and suppliers
  • Australian Manufacturer's Pavilion: local precision engineering and component makers
  • Manufacturing Solutions: materials handling, warehousing, safety and software
  • Robotics & Automation
  • Weld & Air Solutions

Opening hours

The exhibition opens 9:30am to 5:30pm on Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 May, 9:30am to 6:30pm on Thursday 13 May, and 9:30am to 3:30pm on Friday 14 May 2027.

Who attends

Manufacturers, engineers, production managers, toolmakers and buyers from metalworking, precision engineering and advanced manufacturing. Entry is for trade personnel only; under-15s are admitted only with an adult.
