electronica 2026

electronica is the biennial meeting point of the global electronics industry, held in Munich since 1964. It covers the full chain of electronic technologies, from components, semiconductors and sensors to embedded systems, power electronics and test and measurement, under the 2026 theme of empowering an All Electric Society. The show runs alongside SEMICON Europa, and one visitor ticket covers both.

Who attends

Engineers, developers, purchasers and managers from the electronics industry and its user sectors, such as automotive, industrial automation, energy and communications. The 2024 edition drew more than 3,480 exhibitors and over 80,000 visitors from around the world.

electronica Automotive Conference

The day before the fair opens, on 9 November 2026, the paid electronica Automotive Conference takes place at the ICM – International Congress Center Messe München. Its 2026 focus topics include electrification across vehicle classes, software-based E/E architectures, holistic development processes, automated driving and the geopolitics of the semiconductor crisis.

Opening hours

Visitors can enter from 09:00 to 18:00 on Tuesday 10 to Thursday 12 November, and from 09:00 to 15:00 on Friday 13 November 2026. SEMICON Europa keeps the same hours.
