Frontier AI Innovation Summit 2026 – All Hands Meeting of the German AI Centers & ELIAS Alliance

The Frontier AI Innovation Summit combines the All Hands Meeting of the German AI Excellence Centers with the annual meeting of the ELIAS Alliance (European Leadership in Innovation with AI and Science). Over two days at Messe Stuttgart, leading researchers, innovators and ecosystem leaders from Germany and Europe discuss how frontier AI research can strengthen Europe's technological sovereignty and be translated into societal and economic impact, through keynotes, Focused Impact AI Project talks, workshops, panels, posters and networking.

Keynote speakers

The 2026 programme features four keynotes from research and industry.

Day 1: impact projects and posters

After the welcome address and Raia Hadsell's keynote, the German AI centres present Focused Impact Projects on the main stage: BIFOLD, DFKI ("AI for European Industrial Sovereignty"), the Lamarr Institute, MCML, ScaDS.AI and the Tübingen AI Center, followed by a large poster session.

Day 2: workshops and ELIAS

Parallel morning workshops are followed by a general session on shaping Europe's future with frontier AI and open infrastructure, the launch of new ELIAS Alliance nodes, and an Agentic AI Infrastructure Builder Camp.
