About this event

GDC, the long-running Game Developers Conference now billed as the GDC Festival of Gaming, is where people who make games for a living gather each year in San Francisco. Programmers, artists, designers, producers, publishers, marketers and the technology companies behind them come together for talks, summits, business meetings and an expo floor. The 2027 edition fills Moscone Center over four days.

Sessions and summits

The organizer promises more than 700 sessions, workshops and summits. The summits group the program by discipline, and the 2027 themes cover resilient careers and studios, funding and bringing games to market, smarter tools and workflows including AI, growing communities, building games at every scale and the global game industry.
