About this event

The International Emergency and Catastrophe Management Conference & Exhibition (IECM) is a long-running Dubai platform for the emergency, disaster management and search and rescue community. Its 18th edition in 2027 combines an exhibition of equipment and services with a conference and practical workshops on preparedness, prevention, response, recovery and resilience. It is organised by INDEX Conferences & Exhibitions and held at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Three pillars

IECM is built around an exhibition, a conference and a workshop programme, each aimed at the people who plan for and respond to emergencies.

Exhibition: technologies, services and solutions for preparedness, response, disaster prevention, recovery and resilience
Conference: global experts, policymakers and practitioners on health emergencies, technology and climate adaptation
Workshops: interactive sessions on skills, trends and tools in emergency management

Who attends

The event brings together decision-makers from government, emergency response professionals, aid agencies, search and rescue teams, NGOs, media and the private sector. Exhibitors range from ambulance and emergency vehicle makers to communications, civil defence and medical equipment suppliers; past participants include the International Committee of the Red Cross and NAFFCO.

The organiser reports that the 2025 edition drew 5,126+ attendees from 52 countries, with 72 speakers, 55 sessions and workshops, and more than 250 participating entities and brands.
