Business events in Dubai: how the 2026–27 calendar works

Dubai's business event season runs from October to May. October and November 2026 are the busiest months: atndr lists 46 upcoming Dubai business events that start in those two months, out of 77 in the 2026–27 calendar. January 2027 is the next peak, led by healthcare and security. June to August is quiet for large trade shows.

The table shows the flagship of each month rather than every event. Dates are the 2026–27 editions as listed; confirm on the organizer's site before you book.

Most industries in Dubai have one fixture that sets the year, with smaller summits around it. Pick the fixture for your sector first, then look at what runs alongside it.

Technology

GITEX Global 2026 runs 7–11 December 2026. The GITEX Summit takes 7 December, and the GITEX Global Expo runs 8–11 December at Expo City Dubai. Expand North Star 2026 (startups) and GITEX Future Digital Assets Forum (FDX) 2026 (digital assets) run alongside it at the same venue. The smaller Dubai AI Festival 2026 runs 26–27 October at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

Finance and investment

SuperReturn Middle East 2026 runs 13–15 October 2026 at The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC. It is a private markets meeting for limited partners (LPs, the investors in funds) and general partners (GPs, the fund managers), and qualifying LPs attend free. Dubai FinTech Summit 2026 follows on 2–3 November at Madinat Jumeirah, and Blockchain Life 2026 covers crypto and Web3 on 1–2 December. AIM Congress 2027 runs 12–14 April 2027 at DWTC for investors and policymakers.

Government and policy

The World Governments Summit 2027 runs 1–3 February 2027. Its 2026 edition reported more than 6,250 participants and representatives of more than 150 governments. It is a policy summit rather than a trade show, so check its site for how to take part.

Healthcare

World Health Expo (WHX) Dubai 2027 runs 25–28 January 2027. The show was formerly called Arab Health, and it now spans two venues: Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City and DWTC. WHX Tech 2027 runs 26–28 January at DWTC alongside it, and dental professionals have AEEDC Dubai 2027 the week before.

Food, hospitality and travel

Gulfood 2027 runs 15–19 March 2027 across DWTC and Dubai Exhibition Centre. Food production has its own show, Gulfood Manufacturing 2026, on 3–5 November 2026, next to GulfHost 2026 for hotel and restaurant suppliers. Arabian Travel Market 2027 runs 3–6 May 2027 at DWTC and is the main travel trade event.

Construction, real estate and energy

Big 5 Global 2026 runs 23–26 November 2026 at DWTC, with HVACR World 2026 and Future FM 2026 on the same dates. Property investors have RISE Global 2026, a real estate investment summit and expo in Hall 5 at DWTC on 13–14 October. In energy, WETEX 2026 (20–22 October) and the World Green Economy Summit 2026 (21–22 October) share DWTC. Middle East Energy 2027 returns on 11–13 May 2027 at Dubai Exhibition Centre; the 2026 edition ran in September.

Security, media and aviation

Intersec Global 2027 (12–14 January 2027) covers security, safety and fire protection, and GISEC Global 2027 (4–6 May 2027) covers cybersecurity at Expo City. For broadcasters, CABSAT 2026 and SATExpo 2026 share Dubai Exhibition Centre on 5–7 October 2026, with free visitor passes. Aviation has the Airport Show 2026 in October and MRO Middle East 2027 in February. Dubai Airshow 2027 runs 15–19 November 2027 at Dubai World Central, outside the 2026–27 season.

Most large business events in Dubai use one of two venues, in different parts of the city. Of the 77 upcoming Dubai events on atndr, 47 are at DWTC and 12 at Dubai Exhibition Centre. Check which one your event uses before you book a hotel.

Several flagships now split across both main venues: Gulfood 2027 and WHX 2027 use DWTC and Dubai Exhibition Centre at the same time. CABSAT names Dubai Exhibition Centre its new home from 2026. If your meetings are in both venues, plan time to travel between them.

Sort out three things early: your entry, your hotel and your badge.

• Entry. Visit Dubai, the city's official tourism site, says citizens of more than 80 countries can get a visa on arrival. Others apply for a tourist visa online before travelling. Check your nationality on the official visa page. If you are exhibiting or working on a stand, ask the organizer which visa it recommends.
• Hotels. In weeks with several co-located shows (3–5, 10–12 and 23–26 November 2026), rooms near DWTC fill early and prices rise. Book as soon as your dates are fixed.
• Badges. Many trade exhibitions, such as CABSAT and GISEC, offer free visitor passes to industry professionals who register in advance. • Opening hours. Check the hours for each day. Many shows close earlier on the last day: CABSAT 2026 runs 10:00–17:00, but closes at 16:00 on 7 October.

Dubai has more upcoming business events on atndr (77) than Riyadh (49) or Abu Dhabi (26), across a wider range of industries. The other two host fewer, but each holds anchor events that Dubai doesn't.

Plan your meetings before you land. Most flagship shows open matchmaking apps or hosted-buyer programmes a few weeks before the doors open, and the best slots go early.

1. Pick the week, not just the event. Co-located shows share a venue and dates. On 3–5 November 2026, one DWTC visit covers GulfHost, Gulfood Manufacturing, ISM Middle East and Private Label Middle East.
2. Know which hall you need. At two-venue shows, sectors are split between DWTC and Expo City. Check the floor plan before you plan your day.
3. Read the agenda for side events. Startup zones, investor programmes and evening receptions are often where the useful conversations happen.
4. Register with a company email. Trade visitor passes are for industry professionals, and some organizers check.
5. Follow up the same week. Exhibitors meet hundreds of people over a few days. A short note that mentions your conversation gets remembered.
