Intec 2027

Intec is the International Trade Fair for Machine Tools, Manufacturing and Automation, a major European meeting point for the metalworking industry held every other year in Leipzig. Global market leaders and small and medium-sized manufacturers present machine tools, production technology and automation solutions, while the co-located Z International Subcontracting Fair covers parts, components, modules and industrial services. One ticket gives access to both fairs.

Key figures and programme

Together, Intec and Z 2025 brought more than 700 exhibitors from 26 countries and 17,800 visitors from 42 countries to over 35,000 square metres of exhibition space, with more than 80 events in the specialist programme. For 2027 the fair uses a more compact hall layout in Halls 2 and 4 and the Congress Center Leipzig. VDMA is a supporting organization.
