Iraq plast 2026

Iraq plast is the country's main B2B exhibition for plastics, printing and packaging. The 7th edition takes place in Erbil, organised by So Fuar and fairtrade Messe, and connects international machinery makers and raw-material suppliers with Iraqi importers, distributors, producers, project developers and government stakeholders. It runs concurrently with Agro Pack & Food Iraq, covering the packaging end of the food value chain.

What's on show

The exhibition spotlights raw materials and machinery across five connected industries.

• Plastics raw materials
• Plastics processing machinery
• Printing technology
• Paper and tissue
• Packaging machinery and materials

Why it matters

Citing VDMA, imports of plastics technology rose from 25 million euros in 2020 to 57 million euros in 2024, printing and paper technology from 13 million to 56 million euros, and packaging technology from 65 million euros in 2020 to 125 million euros in 2025.

Who exhibits

National pavilions bring groups from Armenia, China, India, Iran, Italy, Turkiye and the UAE, with German support through AHK Iraq. Exhibitors quoted from 2025 include Piovan, RR Plast, Ningbo Sonly, Poli Pack and UPG.
