Is the ASCD Annual Conference still held separately?

No. After ISTE+ASCD became the International Society for Transforming Education in 2026, the co-located ISTE and ASCD conferences became one event, ISTELive.

Can I earn CEUs or graduate credit?

Possibly. A certificate of attendance is available to all registrants, but CEU eligibility depends on your district or state Department of Education; official credit providers will be listed this fall.

When will the full program be published?

The full program launches in February 2027.

About This Event

ISTELive 27 is a Education & Training event taking place 27-30 Jun 2027 at Thomas M. Menino Convention and Exhibition Center, Boston, United States.

ISTELive is the annual conference of the International Society for Transforming Education, the organisation formed when ISTE and ASCD merged and renamed in 2026. What used to be the co-located ISTE and ASCD annual conferences is now a single event connecting instructional strategy, educator practice and purposeful technology use. ISTELive 27 is a hybrid event, held in person in Boston with a virtual option.

Virtually presented content runs from Saturday, June 26 through Wednesday, June 30. ISTE plans 90+ sessions streamed from Boston and 150+ recorded sessions posted within 24 hours and available for six months.

Teachers, instructional coaches, school and district leaders, and education technology specialists, plus the edtech companies exhibiting in the expo. Sessions are labelled as ASCD, ISTE or blended content so both communities can find their topics.
