ITEC 2027

ITEC, the International Training Technology Exhibition and Conference, is Europe's largest event dedicated to defence training and simulation. Over three days it combines an exhibition of training technologies with a technical conference that mixes military simulation R&D with lessons from gaming and first-responder training.

Conference theme for 2027

The 2027 theme is 'Getting ahead of the threat': how forces and the wider defence enterprise can anticipate emerging threats and build readiness before they arrive. The programme blends panels, technical presentations, demos and roundtables across three theatres.

• New Horizons Theatre (keynote): drones and counter-UAS, workforce and capability decisions
• Adaptive Edge Theatre: interoperable simulation, Live Virtual and Constructive integration, standards and governance
• Human Performance Theatre: cognitive edge, decision-making under pressure, human-machine teaming
