MEDays 2026

MEDays is the annual international forum organised by Institut Amadeus in Tangier under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI. Since 2008 it has grown into one of the main meeting points for leaders from Africa, the Arab world and the wider Global South, mixing political dialogue with an investment and business track. The 18th edition runs under the theme "Fragmented world: time for choices", looking at how economics, security and cooperation can be reconciled in a world being remade.

Who attends

The organizer expects more than 8,000 participants and over 300 high-level speakers from more than 120 countries. The audience mixes heads of state and government, ministers, heads of international institutions, business leaders, investors, researchers and youth representatives, alongside delegations and around 180 partner institutions and companies.

Programme and format

Over four days the forum runs plenary sessions, round tables and bilateral meetings. The opening day hosts the MEDays Investment Summit (MIS), the opening ceremony and the MEDays Awards; the following three days carry the main plenaries and thematic sessions. A B2B and B2G track, a Startups Village and a Pitch Room give companies a way to meet decision-makers and present solutions.

Announced speakers

Speakers already announced for the 2026 edition include sitting presidents, prime ministers and ministers from Africa, the Caribbean and Europe, together with the heads of ECOWAS institutions and Moroccan cabinet members responsible for economic inclusion and the digital transition.

Venue

The forum is held at the Palais des Arts et de la Culture on the Malabata corniche in Tangier, a 24,000 m2 complex with more than 3,000 seats in its plenary hall. The organizer puts it about 10 minutes from the business district and 20 minutes from Ibn Battouta airport.
