About this event

MODULAR BUILD is a new trade fair for modular, serial and industrially prefabricated construction, launching at Messe Berlin in November 2027. Organised by HINTE Expo & Conference, it brings architects, construction companies, municipalities, investors and research institutions together, and uses its Berlin location to connect the construction value chain with policymakers.

Focus topics

The exhibition is organised around six themes.

Modular living and working spaces
Prefabrication and industrial construction processes
Serial construction and renovation
Digital planning
Sustainability and the circular economy
Smart buildings and IoT

MODULAR SUMMIT

The fair's B2B congress offers keynotes, lead panels and best practices on speeding up the construction transition. Working titles published so far include the transformation of the construction industry, scaling up housing construction, architecture and quality under standardisation, climate neutrality and prefabrication, steel, timber or hybrid materials, digitalisation as an enabler and industrial construction. Masterclasses, roundtables and a construction industry lounge add smaller formats.

Backing

The fair was presented in Berlin with support from the construction industry, municipalities and research, and its expert committee first met there in July 2026. Germany's Federal Minister for Housing, Urban Development and Building, Verena Hubertz, has described it as a marketplace that fills a gap for serial, modular and systemic construction.

MODULAR BUILD 2027 is a Real Estate & Construction event taking place 2-4 Nov 2027 at Messe Berlin, Berlin, Germany.
