About this event

next.app devCon brings eight mobile developer conferences together under one roof at CityCube Berlin for three days. Grown out of droidCon, which developers started organising in 2009, it gathers the Android, iOS, Flutter, React Native, XR and mobile game communities with security and engineering leadership tracks, so teams can compare native and cross-platform approaches, AI-assisted workflows and security practices in one place.

Eight co-located conferences

Each community has its own conference, plus a cross-framework track and an Android automotive programme.

droidCon (Android)
swiftCon (iOS)
flutterCon
reactCon (React Native)
xr & game devsCon
agentic codingCon (AI-assisted engineering and edge AI)
masCon (mobile application security, powered by OWASP)
techlead summit (engineering leadership)

Who attends

Mobile app developers across platforms, engineering managers, staff and principal engineers and senior developers, platform and security teams, and mobile game and XR creators. Teams use the three days as an engineering offsite, splitting across tracks and comparing notes.

Formats

Alongside technical talks and hands-on workshops there are hackathon challenges, leadership summits for engineering managers and staff engineers, and interactive unconference roundtables. masCon maps OWASP MASVS and MASTG to real development workflows.
