Tanzania Mining and Investment Conference 2026 (TMIC 2026)

The Tanzania Mining and Investment Conference (TMIC) is the government-hosted meeting point for the country's mining sector, organised by the Ministry of Minerals. The 7th edition runs under the theme "Value-Added Minerals: The Engine of Industrial and Economic Growth" and combines policy dialogue, investment promotion, an exhibition and networking in Dar es Salaam.

Who attends

TMIC brings together the main players in Tanzania's mining and investment landscape.

• Mining companies in exploration, production and mining services
• Private equity, venture capital and institutional investors
• Government officials, policymakers and regulators
• Development partners and financial institutions
• Commodity trading houses and mineral processors
• Civil society organisations focused on responsible mining

What's on

The programme covers policy discussions, keynotes, technical sessions, investment opportunities and an exhibition, plus Usiku wa Madini, the conference's evening networking event.

Why it matters

The 2026 theme puts mineral value addition and local processing at the centre of the programme, alongside matching international investors with projects and partners in the country's mining sector.
