Energy supply
All-Energy, organised by RX at the SEC Glasgow, combines an exhibition with a Strategic Summit and free show-floor theatres on clean power, hydrogen, grids and energy systems; the 2025 edition had 13,033 attendees and more than 270 exhibitors. SPE Offshore Europe, run by RX with the Society of Petroleum Engineers at P&J Live, covers offshore oil and gas and offshore wind. For electrification policy, nuclear and fusion, Economist Impact's Energy Transition Summit, Fusion Fest and the Nuclear Summit are one-day London meetings.
Buildings and energy management
emex reports more than 4,500 senior energy managers at its two-day ExCeL show. elementalLONDON co-locates with London Build the same days, and Futurebuild is the spring show for sustainable construction and retrofit, with more than 20,000 built environment professionals.
Corporate sustainability, water and resources
edie 27 is the UK's longest-running sustainable business event; Sustainability Week is in its 12th year. The Water Summit targets industrial water users, and Floodex covers flood risk, drainage and waterways. Resourcing Tomorrow anchors London Mining Week, and Low Carbon Agriculture brings farm renewables and emissions reduction to the NEC alongside LAMMA.
Conference or exhibition: which should you attend?
Go to an exhibition to meet suppliers and see products; go to a conference to meet decision-makers and hear policy.
Exhibitions such as emex, All-Energy, Futurebuild, Battery Cells & Systems Expo and SPE Offshore Europe are built around a show floor of suppliers with free seminar theatres. They suit buyers, engineers and anyone sourcing technology, and they are usually free for visitors.
Conferences and summits such as Sustainability Week, the Energy Transition Summit, edie 27 and Resourcing Tomorrow are smaller and paid. The value is the audience: the Economist Water Summit reported that 77% of its 2026 attendees were above director level, and its Nuclear Summit drew 349 attendees from 27 countries in 2026.
Several events offer both. All-Energy runs a Strategic Summit alongside its exhibition, Subsea Expo pairs a free exhibition with a premium conference, and Offshore Europe's SPE conference is free like its exhibition.
What do UK energy and environment events cost?

How do you choose the right event?
Start with what you want to leave with: suppliers, customers, policy insight or investors.
- Your sector. Offshore and subsea: Aberdeen. Renewables and grids: All-Energy. Buildings: emex, elementalLONDON or Futurebuild. Corporate sustainability: edie 27 or Sustainability Week. Mining and critical minerals: Resourcing Tomorrow.
- Your role. Engineers and buyers get most from free exhibitions; executives from the smaller paid summits.
- Combine co-located events. The 25–26 November week at ExCeL puts emex, elementalLONDON, London Build and Floodex in one venue; Economist Impact's Energy Transition Summit and Sustainability Week run on consecutive days, as do Fusion Fest and the Nuclear Summit.
- Location and travel. Glasgow and Aberdeen need extra travel time from London; plan hotels early around All-Energy and Offshore Europe.
- Check the edition. Dates here are taken from each organiser's site in October 2026; confirm on the official page before you book.
