13th Middle East Insurance Industry Awards 2026

The Middle East Insurance Industry Awards (MIIA), run by Middle East Insurance Review, honour the companies and people driving the region's insurance market. The 13th edition, marking 20 years of MEIR, ends with a gala awards presentation dinner in Dubai where winners chosen by an independent panel of 17 judges are revealed, with the process audited by EY.

How winners are chosen

Nominations were free and self-nominations were allowed. Judges scored written entries and then ranked finalists on judging days held on 30 September and 1 October 2026, with conflict rules keeping judges out of categories where their employer is nominated. Only finalists are announced; winners are kept secret until the ceremony.

Who attends

Finalists, insurers, reinsurers, brokers, takaful operators, regulators and service providers from across MENA. Funding comes from table sales and sponsors including AM Best, Callidus, Chedid Re, Cigna, Fidelity United, GIG, Lloyd's, Marsh, Nas Neuron, Riyadh Re, Trust Re and Verisk.
