29th EURO FINANCE WEEK 2026

Frankfurt's week of banking conferences: strategy, green finance, tech and asset management for C-level finance leaders.

About this event

EURO FINANCE WEEK is the high point of the conference year in Frankfurt's financial centre. The 2026 edition is the 29th, and it gathers senior decision-makers from banks, asset managers, institutional investors, central banking and politics for five days of panels, deep dives, matchmaking formats and evening receptions, each day built around its own lead conference.

Five days, five lead conferences

Each day of the week has its own flagship conference, so attendees can follow a single theme or book across several days. The opening day sets the strategic agenda for the year ahead, and the week closes with the long-running Frankfurt European Banking Congress.

  • Monday 16 Nov: Opening Conference of the 29th EURO FINANCE WEEK and the 12th CHINA DAY
  • Tuesday 17 Nov: 12th Green Finance Forum, themed "From Green to Blue Finance" (water and blue finance)
  • Wednesday 18 Nov: EURO FINANCE Tech Day, "From Artificial to Autonomous Finance"
  • Thursday 19 Nov: HQ Trust Investors Forum for institutional investors and asset managers
  • Friday 20 Nov: 36th Frankfurt European Banking Congress

Opening Conference programme

The opening day runs from 08:00 registration to 17:15, with keynotes from the State of Hessen, the European Central Bank and DZ BANK, followed by CEO talks, tech and innovation talks, a panel on Germany's capital markets and retirement security, a session on Europe's competitiveness and a one-year review of AMLA in Frankfurt. Sessions are in German and English with simultaneous translation.

  • CEO talks with leaders of Commerzbank, DKB, HSBC Deutschland, BNP Paribas Deutschland and Helaba
  • Tech talks with OpenAI and AWS on AI and cloud in banking
  • Panel: Building Germany's financial future, capital markets, innovation and retirement security
  • Keynote: AMLA in Frankfurt, a one-year review

Tech Day and Green Finance Forum

The EURO FINANCE Tech Day brings banking, regulators, academia and technology firms together on generative and agentic AI, the return on AI investment, and Europe's cloud, data, AI and quantum infrastructure. The Green Finance Forum shifts the lens to water as an economic and risk factor and the investment case for blue finance and resilient infrastructure.
