ACHEMA 2027

ACHEMA is the world forum and leading trade show for the life science and process industries, organised in Frankfurt by DECHEMA Ausstellungs-GmbH. The 2027 edition brings chemists, engineers, process technicians, biotechnologists, energy and environmental specialists and IT experts together with solution providers from around the world across a full week, pairing a large equipment exhibition with a scientific congress.

Innovation themes

Six themes run through the exhibition and the congress: process innovation, pharma innovation (the fastest-growing area of the show), lab innovation, digital innovation such as AI and Industry 4.0 in plants, green innovation around bio-based and circular production, and energy innovation for reliable, efficient supply.

Congress and formats

The ACHEMA Congress runs alongside the fair with peer-reviewed talks (the call for papers closes on 4 October 2026), plus highlight sessions, a start-up area and the ACHEMA Start-up Award, and a new exhibitor area with turnkey stands for first-time exhibitors.
