AEA 2026 - Second Annual International Conference of the Arab Eye Academy

The Arab Eye Academy holds its second annual international conference at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria. AEA 2026 brings ophthalmologists from Egypt and the Arab world together to share recent advances, research and clinical practice across the eye-care subspecialties.

Conference board

The board includes professors from Cairo, Ain Shams and Al Azhar universities, among them Prof. Ahmed Mostafa and Prof. Essam Eltoukhy (Cairo University), Prof. Mahmoud Ismail (Al Azhar University) and Prof. Sherif Embabi (Ain Shams University), with Dr. Hashem Abu Serhan of Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha.

Who attends

Consultant ophthalmologists, eye surgeons, residents and fellows from Egypt and abroad. Residents and fellows have a lower scientific-registration rate, and international delegates register in US dollars.
