About this event

Alihankinta (the Subcontracting Trade Fair) is Northern Europe's largest industrial trade fair, held every autumn at Tampere Sports & Expo in Finland. Around 1,000 exhibitors and more than 29,000 manufacturing professionals meet over three days to renew supplier relationships, find new partners and follow the topics shaping the industry.

Who attends

Buyers, engineers, production managers and executives from manufacturing companies meet subcontractors, component and materials suppliers, machining and metal-working shops, automation and software providers. According to the organiser's visitor survey, 93% come to meet familiar suppliers and contacts, 81% to learn about industry trends and 79% to discover new products and services.

Programme

The fair runs a talks programme alongside the stands. In 2026, sessions on the Main Stage, the Theme Stage and in seminar rooms covered the theme of growth and internationalisation, resilient supply chains, future skills, robotics and software for industry.
