Asian Financial Forum 2027

The Asian Financial Forum (AFF) is jointly organised by the Government of the Hong Kong SAR and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. It gathers leaders from government, finance and business to discuss the global economy from an Asian perspective and how finance can power business growth. The 2027 edition is the forum's 20th, marking two decades as one of the region's first major financial gatherings of the year.

Who attends

AFF draws a senior audience: the organiser reports that more than 80% of AFF 2026 participants were C-suite executives and senior decision-makers. Delegates come from banks, asset managers, family offices, regulators, fintech companies, investors and investment promotion agencies.

AFF Deal-making

A matchmaking programme connects sources of funds with sources of deals through pre-arranged one-to-one meetings. At AFF 2026 more than 800 meetings were arranged between 280+ investors and 590+ project owners across fintech, energy and clean technology, healthcare technology, deep tech, infrastructure and real estate.

Some 150 financial institutions, technology companies, start-ups and investment promotion agencies exhibit alongside the forum in dedicated zones.
