Breakbulk Europe 2027

Breakbulk Europe is the world's largest exhibition and conference for the project cargo and breakbulk industry, held each May at Rotterdam Ahoy. It gathers the whole supply chain under one roof, from project owners, EPCs and industrial manufacturers to heavy-lift carriers, ports, terminals and freight forwarders. The 2027 edition adds a brand-new exhibition hall.

Programme

Alongside the exhibition, the event runs a Global Shipper Programme for cargo owners, the NextWave programme for young professionals, workshops such as AI in Maritime, conference panels on risk, sanctions and trade policy, and the Breakbulk Green World Awards.

Key figures

The 2026 edition was the largest in the event's history, according to the organiser, with more than 12,800 industry professionals, over 740 exhibitors, more than 640 global shippers and representatives from 134 countries.
