How much does registration cost?

Fees rise over three periods (opening until 4 Nov 2026, early until 16 Dec 2026, late from 17 Dec 2026). A full ESR member pays €710 / €870 / €950 and a non-member €1,040 / €1,360 / €1,420; students pay from €90. All fees include 10% VAT.

How do I get to the venue?

From Stephansplatz take the U1 underground line towards Leopoldau to the Kaisermühlen VIC station.

Is there on-demand access?

Yes. Every ticket includes on-demand access until 14 March 2027.

About this event

The European Congress of Radiology (ECR), run by the European Society of Radiology, is one of the largest medical meetings in Europe and the second-largest radiological meeting in the world. ECR 2027 takes place onsite and online in Vienna under the theme "Healthcare Reimagined", with congress president Prof. Dr. Mathias Prokop.

Attendees span the whole radiology arena: radiologists and residents, radiographers, medical physicists, nuclear medicine physicians, data scientists, hospital managers, industry representatives and medical and consumer press.

What's covered

The 2027 theme looks at how technology, patient expectations, pressure on health systems and artificial intelligence are reshaping care, and at radiology's role beyond diagnosis in guiding therapy, monitoring treatment and precision medicine. The programme mixes scientific sessions, oral and poster presentations and a technical exhibition from imaging industry.
