8th International Conference on Medical Laboratory Sciences

The 8th International Conference on Medical Laboratory Sciences is held under the patronage of Kuwait's Minister of Health and brings together laboratory specialists from the Ministry of Health, Kuwait University and the private sector. The 2026 theme is advances in clinical virology and medical laboratory excellence, covering innovation in diagnostics, quality and day-to-day laboratory practice.

• Laboratory quality management: PIPs and KPIs (17 November, 13:30-16:30)

Committee

The conference is chaired by Dr. Ibtisam Al-Jumah of the Ministry of Health, with Dr. Bader Al-Otaibi of the Council of Medical Laboratories as scientific chair and Dr. Mona Al-Ahmad of Kuwait University's Faculty of Medicine as abstract chair. Abstracts are accepted as oral, poster or Young Investigator entries, and attendance earns 12 CME points.
