About this event

The Food Processing and Packaging Exhibition (FIP Expo) is Business Glory's trade fair for Iraq's food manufacturing sector. For 2027 the organizers say it will expand for the first time across several halls of the Baghdad International Fair, positioning it as a gateway for investment, partnerships and production technology in Iraq's growing food industry.

Why Iraq

The organizers point to Iraq's location between Asia, Europe and Africa as a trading hub for import and export, and to a diverse food sector built on fertile land and natural water resources that supplies staple products for domestic food security with room to grow abroad. Official government support and the presence of officials from ministries and public bodies are part of the pitch.

Who attends

The show connects suppliers of food processing machinery, ingredients, packaging and packing solutions with Iraqi food manufacturers, traders, importers and investors. It runs alongside the 18th Iraq Agricultural Week on the same dates and grounds.
