Global Transport Expo 2026

Global Transport Expo is Informa Connect's three-day exhibition and conference on how Saudi Arabia plans, builds and runs its transport networks. It sits alongside Informa's Saudi Intermobility Expo at Riyadh Front and is framed around the Kingdom's more than $147 billion of investment in transport and logistics infrastructure, with the Roads General Authority as its official strategic partner.

Conference programme

The two-day conference moves from technology to long-term planning. Day one focuses on smart, autonomous and digital mobility and the future of global and regional mobility. Day two turns to sustainability and resilience, with sessions on building sustainable, resilient and inclusive transport networks, integrated public transport across rail, bus, metro and first and last mile, financing large transport projects and governance for future mobility.

Exhibition

The show floor brings together suppliers of intelligent transport systems, traffic management, smart parking, road safety and mobility technology. About 30 exhibitors are already listed, among them Derq, Miovision, TransCore and Hazen.ai.

Why it matters

The organiser ties the event to national 2030 targets it cites: 30% electric vehicles in Riyadh's fleet, a 10% GDP contribution from the transport sector and 50% localisation of transport technologies. The expo is pitched at public-private partnerships, local manufacturing of transport technology and faster urban mobility change.
