Riyadh's business event season runs from October to June, and the heaviest stretch is October to December. The spring has fewer events but the biggest names: LEAP 2027 and World Energy Congress 2027 both run in April 2027. July and August are empty, and the calendar restarts in September.

A few flagship events draw international audiences. Around them sit sector trade exhibitions and smaller summits. Pick by industry and by format: a trade exhibition is for meeting suppliers and buyers on a show floor, and a summit or forum is for the conference programme and the people in the room.
Technology, AI and cybersecurity
LEAP 2027 runs 12–15 April 2027 at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Centre (Malham) and is the city's largest technology event. DeepFest 2027, the AI event, runs alongside it on the same dates. Black Hat MEA 2026 (1–3 December 2026, Malham) is the pick for security teams. The Global Cybersecurity Forum is also held in Riyadh (its 2025 Annual Meeting ran 1–2 October 2025), but atndr does not list a 2026 edition yet. What do you need to sort out before travelling to Riyadh for an event?
Sort out three things early: your visa, your hotel and your badge.
- Visa. Saudi Arabia's tourist eVisa is open to citizens of eligible countries through the official eVisa portal. It is a one-year, multiple-entry visa for stays of up to 90 days, and the portal lists events among permitted activities. Exhibitors and staff working a stand should ask the organizer which visa it recommends.
- Hotels. In busy weeks (2–5 and 16–19 November 2026 each have several shows at once) rooms near the venues sell out early. Book as soon as your dates are fixed.
- Badges. Most trade exhibitions give free visitor passes to industry professionals who register in advance. Conferences charge for delegate passes or, like FII10, admit mainly through membership. Register online before you travel.
