interbad 2026

interbad is the biennial trade fair for swimming pools, saunas and spas at Messe Stuttgart, organised with the German Association for the Bathing Industry (DGfdB). Exhibitors from Germany and abroad show pool technology, sauna concepts and wellness equipment to operators, builders, planners and hoteliers, while the parallel 71st DGfdB Congress runs sessions on construction, technology and pool operations.

The show is organised around three worlds.

• Swimming pool technology, from smart filtration to efficient heat recovery
• Sauna design concepts and technologies
• Spa and wellness furnishings and relaxation concepts

71st DGfdB Congress

Held as part of interbad on all three days (from 14:00 on 6 October, from 10:00 on 7 and 8 October), the congress covers pool construction and technology, personnel and the management of aquatic facilities. An English-language international session and a new personnel and operations session are part of the 2026 programme.

Supporting programme

The 2026 programme also lists the interbad Forum, the interbad Cube, an innovation award, a Sauna from Finland special area, an Aquabox excursion and a conference on the future of swimming by the Josef Wund Foundation.

Who attends

Public and private pool operators, pool builders and dealers, hotel managers, architects and planners, as well as association members. In 2024 the show had 276 exhibitors from 28 countries and almost 8,000 visitors.
