JOA26 – 15th International Conference of the Jordan Orthopaedic Association

JOA26 is the 15th International Conference of the Jordan Orthopaedic Association, held under the patronage of HRH Princess Muna Al-Hussein. It gathers orthopaedic surgeons, educators and researchers from Jordan and the region with 30 invited speakers from nine countries for a pre-congress workshop day followed by three days of parallel scientific sessions and a medical exhibition.

Scientific topics

The programme runs in two main halls and three breakout rooms, covering nine orthopaedic subspecialties plus free-paper sessions.

• Sports medicine: knee, shoulder and hip
• Spine surgery, including endoscopy and paediatric deformity
• Trauma: proximal and distal femur fractures, acute care

Workshops and pre-congress day

Wednesday 4 November is a pre-congress day with a paediatric orthopaedic research symposium, a knee MRI masterclass and hands-on total knee arthroplasty workshops (25 places each, JOD 100). The opening ceremony and the opening of the medical exhibition follow from 18:00. Further hands-on workshops in hand surgery, foot and ankle MIS, revision TKA and paediatric pelvic osteotomies run during the congress.

International faculty

The faculty page lists invited surgeons from the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Italy, Austria, Türkiye, Egypt, the UAE and India, joining Jordanian consultants from public, military and private hospitals.
