How much does registration cost?

International delegates pay US$ 250. JRS members and residents, fellows, students and radiographers pay JOD 100; Jordan Medical Association and Palestinian Radiological Society members pay JOD 150. The ESOR Chest Imaging Course is JOD 70.

What does registration include?

The opening ceremony, scientific sessions, exhibition area, lunches and coffee breaks, congress bag, certificate of attendance and abstract book.

Do I need to register in advance?

Yes. Pre-registration is required, and workshop places are allocated first come, first served.

About this event

PAARS & JRS 2026 brings the 14th International Congress of the Pan Arab Association of Radiological Societies (PAARS) together with the 15th International Congress of the Jordanian Radiological Society (JRS) in Amman. Over four days radiologists from across the Arab world meet international faculty from Europe, North America and Asia for lectures, accredited courses, hands-on workshops and an industry exhibition.

Programme highlights

The congress opens with a full-day European School of Radiology (ESOR) course and continues with three days of scientific sessions, workshops and a residents' competition, all at The St. Regis Amman.

ESOR Chest Imaging Course (21 October, 08:00–18:15): interstitial lung disease, pulmonary nodules, lung cancer staging, pulmonary embolism
Diagnostic Imaging Tournament for Residents (23 October, 14:00–16:00): case-based competition across subspecialties, free to enter
Women's Imaging & Advanced Breast Intervention Workshop (24 October, 10:00–12:00): ultrasound-guided intervention and O-RADS assessment
Scientific sessions, abstract presentations and an exhibition area

Faculty

The speaker list names guest speakers from more than fifteen countries, ESOR faculty from Austria, France and the Netherlands, a London Sheffield Radiology International delegation from the UK and a large group of Jordanian radiologists.

Who attends

Consultant radiologists, residents, fellows, medical students and radiographers from Jordan and the wider Arab region, together with imaging equipment and pharmaceutical companies in the exhibition area. Members of the Jordan Medical Association and the Palestinian Radiological Society have their own registration rates.
