RCM Conference and Exhibition 2027

The RCM Conference and Exhibition is the Royal College of Midwives' annual gathering of the UK midwifery and maternity community. The 2027 edition returns to the ICC Birmingham for two days under the theme 'Proud to be: Leading change and shaping futures', with clinical and academic speakers sharing practice, research and ideas that attendees can take straight back to their units.

Who attends

Midwives, maternity support workers, student midwives, educators, researchers and maternity leaders from across the UK and Ireland. Past attendees describe it as a meeting point for the whole maternity community, from students to senior clinicians.

What's on

Over two days the programme combines plenaries from RCM leadership with sessions from leading clinical and academic voices, alongside an exhibition of organisations serving maternity services.

Call for abstracts
