About this event

Seatrade Europe is the premier European gathering for the ocean and river cruise industry, organised by Seatrade Cruise in partnership with Hamburg Messe und Congress. Every two years it brings cruise lines, ports and destinations, shipbuilders, technology providers and suppliers to Hamburg for an exhibition, a conference programme and a dedicated River Cruise Day.

Conference

The conference looks at how cruise lines, ports, destinations, regulators and suppliers respond to decarbonisation, smart ship design, changing guest expectations and community engagement. The last edition in 2025 featured more than 140 speakers, with tracks such as:

European Cruise Outlook and River Cruise Outlook
Port operations and infrastructure development
Destination development and tourism strategy
Environmental stewardship and ESG
Next-gen ships and smart design
Technology and guest experience
Luxury, small ship and expedition sector growth

Exhibition

The show floor covers every cruise sector, from ports and destinations to shipbuilders, interior and technology suppliers, giving buyers from cruise lines a single place to meet partners and source products and services.

Who attends

Cruise line executives, port authorities and operators, destination and tourism organisations, shipyards, ship suppliers, technology companies and service providers from across Europe and beyond, plus the river cruise community at the River Cruise Day.
