WEST 2027

WEST is the largest West Coast conference and exhibition for the sea services, co-hosted by AFCEA International and the U.S. Naval Institute. It brings the leadership of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard together with the companies that build their platforms, systems and networks, for three days of keynotes, panels and an exhibition in San Diego, the hub of Pacific naval operations.

Theme and programme

The WEST 2027 theme is "Generating Combat Power Across Multiple Global Maritime Fronts." The programme mixes keynotes, panels and special presentations from senior DoD and DHS officials, and the event traditionally gathers the Chief of Naval Operations, the Marine Corps Commandant and the Coast Guard Commandant on one West Coast stage.

Who attends

WEST connects the operators and decision makers of the sea services with industry and academia. San Diego is home to more than 150,000 Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard professionals, which gives exhibitors direct access to users as well as buyers.

• Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard leaders and operators
• DoD and DHS officials
• Defense primes and technology suppliers
• Academia and research organizations

Exhibition

For the first time, WEST 2027 spreads its exhibition across two halls on the lower and upper levels of the San Diego Convention Center, showing platforms, communications systems and emerging technologies used in maritime operations. No one under 18 is admitted to the exhibit hall.
